Joda Freight

Back in July, the Joda team swapped high-vis and haulage for sunshine and celebration at our annual summer party, and all for a good cause. 

Held on a bright Saturday afternoon, the event brought together our entire staff, their families, and friends for a fantastic day of fundraising and fun, in support of our charity partner, Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. 

With carnival-style entertainment among our trucks, burgers for everyone, and plenty of drinks, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Our co-owners even got involved in the dunk tank! The team went all in to raise as much as possible and we’re proud to say the efforts paid off. 

Together, we raised an incredible £3,158 for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, a local charity that provides vital support for children with life-shortening conditions and their families across West Yorkshire. 

The day was not just for fundraising, it was a celebration of our team spirit, the strong community we’ve built at Joda and to celebrate all of our recent successes and growth this year so far. It was also a chance for colleagues to connect outside the workplace, for families to get involved, and for us all to reflect on the importance of giving back. 

We’re proud to support the life-changing work of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, and we’re grateful to everyone who helped make the day such a success!
