Mud, sweat and beers, all in the name of charity

Last Sunday, Team Joda swapped transport plans, warehouse operations and customer deliveries for mud, sweat and beers – a challenge unlike any other, as they took on Total Warrior 2026 in support of our chosen charity partner Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. Known as one of the UK's toughest obstacle course events, Total Warrior put our team through their paces with everything from climbing walls and water obstacles to plenty of mud along the way. It's certainly not part of the average working week at Joda Freight, but it proved to be an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. The challenge came at the end of a week of soaring temperatures across the UK. Thankfully, conditions had cooled slightly by Sunday morning, but it was still a warm day out on the course, making every obstacle that little bit tougher. The team showed fantastic determination from start to finish, digging deep, supporting one another and crossing the finish line with plenty of smiles (and a fair amount of mud). Most importantly, the event gave us the opportunity to raise money and awareness for an incredible local charity, making every climb, crawl and splash through the mud worthwhile.

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice provides specialist care and support for children with life-shortening conditions and their families across West Yorkshire. Their work supports families through every stage of their journey by offering practical support, dedicated care and opportunities to create meaningful moments together. As Joda Freight's chosen charity partner, we're incredibly proud to support the work they do. Taking part in Total Warrior was just one of the ways we could come together as a business to raise funds and awareness for a cause that means so much to our team.

Taking on challenge together

At Joda Freight, teamwork is at the heart of everything we do. Whether we're delivering reliable logistics solutions for our customers or tackling an obstacle course together, success comes from supporting one another, adapting to challenges and working towards a shared goal. While we'd happily swap muddy trainers for safety boots on Monday morning, taking part in Total Warrior was a brilliant opportunity to step away from our day-to-day roles, challenge ourselves and support an organisation making a real difference to families across our local communities.
